Grassello di Calce is made from a mix of slaked lime and marble powders, which is applied and burnished to produce a highly polished decorative finish with an ornate marble-like pattern.
Using Grassello, we are able to polish the plaster to bring out the various shades and textures to produce a rock-hard, high-end finish of exceptional glossiness.
The true beauty of this finish is in the shading and movement created by the applicator, which is unique to each and every surface that we complete.
Another side to the beauty of Venetian Plaster is that its ingredients are naturally derived and free from harmful toxins such as VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
